Easton Avenue Extrication

At 12:55 hours this afternoon District 1 companies were dispatched to Easton Ave and Davidson Ave for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment. While en route units were advised by Franklin Police that a door pop would be needed to free the driver. Car 44-2 arrived to confirm 1 patient trapped and updated the location to Easton Ave and Route 287. Rescue 56 arrived with a 5 man crew and immediately went to work stabilizing the vehicle and securing the battery. The crew quickly preformed a full door removal and transferred the patient over to ems. All units were clear in approximately 40 minutes.

 

South Bound Brook Extrication

At 08:47 hours this morning we were requested into South Bound Brook to assist with a worker who had fallen in a crawl space. Rescue 56 and Utility 56 responded with a crew of 7. Once on scene units assisted the crew of engine 55-2 with extricating 1 patient from the crawl space. There were no reported injuries and all units were cleared within the hour.

Emerson Rd Low Angle Rescue

 

At 19:27 hours this evening stations 56 and 44 (Middlebush) were dispatched to Emerson Road for a squad assist with a patient who fell out of a tree. Chief 56 arrived and confirmed one patient down in the wooded area behind the residence and requested station 28 (Millstone Valley) for their ranger. Rescue 56 arrived and immediately went to work assessing the patient and setting up a haul system. Car 562 , Engine 561, and Engine 562 arrived shortly after and assisted the rescue crew and EMS with patient packaging. The combined crews along with members from Engine 44-1 along with Chief 28 and Deputy 44 were able to quickly and efficiently remove the patient. All units were clear in approximately 30 minutes.

 

South Middlebush Extrication

This morning at 01:32 hours Stations 44 (Middlebush) and 56 (Somerset) were dispatched to South Middlebush Road for the reported motor vehicle accident with entrapment . Chief 56 arrived and confirmed a car on it’s side with the driver trapped. Engine 441 arrived and stretched a precautionary hoseline and assisted Rescue 56 with stabilization of the vehicle. Car 562 and Engine 562 arrived shortly after and the combined crew was able to quickly and safely remove the driver. Great job by all on scene.
